Located between North Bay and the Pacific Ocean, the town of Ocean Shores offers visitors a quintessential West Coast experience. Incorporating aquatic activities with accommodations and other traveler services, Ocean Shores lives up to its reputation as the most visited seaside area in Washington. Each year Ocean Shores is host to the International Kite Challenge, an event that pits kite enthusiasts from across the country against each other in competitions and kite fights. Several state parks are also located in the area and provide a venue for picnicking, hiking, wildlife viewing and more. Visitors can enjoy family fun at the Pacific Paradise Amusement Park, which features bumper boats, miniature golf and food concessions. The annual Dixieland Jazz Festival is a popular draw and brings a wealth of talent from around the continent to Ocean Shores for three days each November.
